Welcome.
Our mission is to provide families with a classical core education at an exceptional value in a Christ-centered community. Through a virtuous education and godly upbringing, we believe our scholars will have the knowledge and wisdom necessary to profit and serve the church and society.
We understand that classical Christian education is ultimately about how to learn—and, most importantly, how to learn truth. We desire our scholars to think well, speak well, and write well. Accordingly, we use the trivium (grammar, logic, and rhetoric) because it is foundational to building the skills necessary for navigating the world around us. We begin with the grammar—the building blocks— of the various subjects we study. We train students in logic so that they learn how those building blocks fit together. Finally, we train students how to express their hard-earned wisdom through the rhetoric of writing, reading, and speaking.
We are committed to an intellectually robust education through copious reading, a stimulating classroom environment, and strong academic pedagogy where the teacher acts as a reliable guide to joyfully discovering truth, goodness, and beauty.
We offer ourselves to homeschooling families as way to achieve academic instruction in three core fields of study - humanities, math, and science. In our model, families register as homeschoolers with the state of Minnesota and commit to direct the academic success of their children in all other content areas. As ardent supporters of the classical principle that all of life is education, this partnership with parents makes incredible sense.
With the overarching aim of love for God and others, we strive for a culture of humility, excellence, and servanthood in the hopes that our scholars will be able to walk out the whole of their lives upholding the image of God in every arena.
